PETALING JAYA: Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the ministry was waiting for the post-mortem report on a teenager who allegedly died weeks after receiving the vaccine.
Noor Hisham also said that the ministry was awaiting a report on “other investigations”, but did not elaborate on the matter.
“At the moment, the state health department is working closely with the clinicians and forensic team in the investigation,” he told FMT.
Noor Hisham also extended the minister’s condolences to the family of the 13-year-old boy.
He said this when asked to respond to a tweet by health minister Khairy Jamaluddin who said the ministry would be issuing a statement on the boy’s death.
